Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and creative Head Chef to lead our kitchen operations and contribute to our dynamic tapas program. This role is ideal for a culinary professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about global cuisine and innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage all kitchen operations and staff
- Execute an infusion-style tapas menu
- Control food costs, inventory, and minimize waste
- Maintain high standards of food quality, consistency, and presentation
- Ensure compliance with all health and sanitation regulations
- Train and mentor kitchen team members
Qualifications:
- 5-7 years of experience as a Head Chef or Sous Chef in a high-volume or upscale environment
- Culinary arts certification is a plus
- Some knowledge of international cuisines and flavor profiles
- Proven leadership and team management skills
- Experience with cost control and inventory management
- Food safety certification
