The Guest Safety Supervisor reports to the Guest Safety Manager to whom he/she is responsible for the fulfillment of the function and responsibilities of the position.

Essential Functions
- Maintain adequate staffing levels for a safe environment
- Prepare weekly work schedule for officers assigned to their shift
- Complete performance appraisals of all officers assigned to their shift
- Monitor and control access to highly sensitive areas
- Initiates emergency procedures as outlined in the Company Emergency Action Guide
- Ensures the property is adequately patrolled at all times to provide the best Guest safety and asset protection possible
- Assists in enforcing all county, state, federal and gaming laws or ordinances when applicable
- Assists in ensuring that all company policies and procedures are adhered to
- Performs 86 procedures on those individuals who are habitual violators of Fitzgerald's policies or those who violate laws or statutes while on property
- Performs arrests on those individuals whose actions on the promises are illegal and justify arrest
- Ensures that immediate action is taken on any situation involving Team Members and Guests, which might be illegal, life threatening or otherwise extraordinary
- Ensures that the officers assigned to his/her shift maintain constant patrol and coverage of all areas of the casino constantly looking for safety hazards or issues, which may be detrimental to our Guests or Team Members
- Maintains a constant level of training for all personnel assigned to their shift
- Reviews and approves all logs, reports and documents prepared on their shift ensuring that all are complete, accurate and concise prior to being submitted to the Guest Safety Manager
- Continually interacts with management and Risk Management on all matters regarding Guest or Team Member liability
Mandatory Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Background and knowledge of security operations in a casino and/or hotel environment
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Excellent leadership/motivation skills
- Excellent organization and planning skills
- Sound mature judgment
- Knowledge of laws and arrest procedures
- Observation skills
- CPR certification
- Ability to work under pressure
- Knowledge in various computers programs including Microsoft Word
- Ability to obtain a Mississippi Gaming permit
Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift and carry up to 10 lbs. during casino table drop. May be required to use physical exertion during detention or apprehension of unruly subject placed under arrest. May be required to assist in the lifting of disabled guests in medical emergencies.
