What this job involves:JLL is seeking a Lobby Ambassador to join our Experience Services team in Washington, DC. In this role, you will be the face of our client's workplace, delivering exceptional guest experiences through warm, professional engagement and proactive service. As a Lobby Ambassador, you will create memorable first impressions, anticipate visitor and employee needs, and ensure seamless service from pre-arrival to departure. This position offers the opportunity to combine your passion for hospitality with your people skills to create a world-class workplace environment. You will serve as a central point of contact, building connections across the hospitality industry while maintaining visible engagement throughout the facility.
What your day-to-day will look like:- Enthusiastically welcome guests, anticipate their needs, and assist with arrivals, departures, and office orientations
- Engage visitors, employees, and callers in a manner that makes them feel warmly welcomed and assist them in a helpful and timely manner
- Maintain visible engagement throughout the workplace and conduct strategic site walks during periods of reduced reception coverage
- Serve as a resident expert on local cuisine, hotels, attractions, and upcoming events
- Connect with clients, customers, and support teams to proactively anticipate needs and deliver creative solutions
- Work across teams to prepare for all arrivals, address concerns, and ensure operations run smoothly
- Assist with support for meetings, reception, personal support, and mail room services where applicable
- Provide wayfinding and information about campus services and activities.
- Minimum 2-3 years of previous customer service or hospitality-related experience
- Excellent communication skills with fluency in English (spoken and written)
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task and prioritize while maintaining elevated guest experiences
- Strong customer service orientation with confidence, professionalism, and responsiveness
- Working knowledge of information technology tools and platforms
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook)
- Flexibility and positive attitude in managing shifting daily priorities
- Reception or customer service experience in a corporate or hospitality environment
- Established network within the local hospitality industry
- Experience working in a facilities management or workplace services environment

Work Shift:8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Salary/Comp:$54,800
This position does not provide visa sponsorship. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Estimated compensation for this position:
54,000.00 54,000.00 USD per year
This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
