What You'll Do
As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, you'll continue providing exceptional orthopedic care while building the skills to become a Pelvic Health specialist.
Responsibilities include:
- Evaluate and treat outpatient orthopedic patients
- Deliver evidence-based one-on-one care
- Participate in Pelvic Health education and mentorship
- Gradually incorporate pelvic health evaluations and treatment into your practice
- Educate patients on treatment plans and home exercise programs
- Document care using EMR
- Collaborate with an experienced multidisciplinary team
QualificationsRequired
- Graduate of a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapy program
- Current Maryland Physical Therapy license (or eligibility)
- Outpatient orthopedic experience
- American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Passion for learning and professional growth
Preferred
- Manual therapy experience
- Interest in Women's Health and Pelvic Health
- Strong communication and patient education skills
Pelvic Health experience is NOT required—we'll help you get there.
