About the Role
The Company is seeking a Managing Director for Project Finance with a focus on renewable energy projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and organizing a significant fundraising campaign to raise $2-3B of tax equity and debt over the next three years. The Managing Director will also be involved in training and mentoring team members, evaluating financial structures, and representing the project finance and M&A function on cross-functional teams. Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree (advanced degree preferred) and at least 18 years of energy-related transactional finance experience, with a strong focus on project finance, structured finance, and tax equity. The role requires deep expertise in tax equity and project financing structures for renewable energy projects, as well as the ability to implement complex financial transactions while balancing various considerations. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential, as is the ability to work in a fast-paced, transaction-driven environment. The ideal candidate will have established relationships within the energy and infrastructure financing sector and experience in a project development environment.
