Work EnvironmentThe Advanced Injury Treatment Center is a state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility located in The Villages, Florida. Our center is designed to support outpatient therapy services, where therapists work directly with patients in individualized treatment sessions. Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients, including reviewing medical history and performing pertinent assessments, to establish treatment plans tailored to individual needs.
- Clearly communicate evaluation findings and treatment plans to patients and their families, actively involving them in the goal-setting process to enhance engagement and outcomes.
- Implement treatment protocols effectively based on evaluation results, adapting to the evolving healthcare landscape and individual patient presentations.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare professionals as needed, documenting patient progress and any significant changes that may require alterations to the plan of care.
- Oversee discharge planning and follow-up care to ensure continuity in patient treatment, maintaining accurate and timely documentation of all patient interactions and outcomes.
- Exercise efficient time management skills to meet productivity expectations while maintaining a punctual schedule for meetings and patient sessions.
- Engage in community-based marketing initiatives to promote our services and strengthen relationships within the local area.
- Facilitate the achievement of departmental objectives by contributing ideas and participating in strategic planning sessions.
- Pursue continuing education opportunities to enhance professional skills and competencies while serving as a mentor to students and junior staff.
- Remain adaptable and flexible to ensure excellent customer service and patient accessibility throughout the rehabilitation process.
Our Physical Therapists work with a diverse range of patients requiring rehabilitation from various conditions, including orthopedic injuries, neurological disorders, post-surgical recovery, and chronic pain management. Qualifications- A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required to ensure that our therapists have the advanced knowledge necessary to provide top-tier care.
- A valid DPT license in the state of Florida is mandatory for this position.
- American Heart Association's BLS for Healthcare Providers CPR certification is required to ensure safety in patient care.
- While prior work experience is beneficial, it is not mandatory. We welcome new graduates with a strong desire to learn and grow.
Ideally, candidates will possess a minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical setting, working with a variety of patient populations. Experience in outpatient rehabilitation is advantageous, as familiarity with specific treatment protocols and patient interaction in this environment will enhance service delivery.
