Position Overview

The Care Project is actively seeking a dedicated and skilled full-time Physical Therapist (PT) to join our dynamic team at our orthopedic outpatient rehabilitation center in Fort Worth, Texas. This role is crucial as you will not only provide treatments that focus on restoring patient mobility but also contribute to enhancing their overall quality of life. You will partner with patients to create individualized treatment plans tailored to their needs, ensuring effective recovery and optimized performance.

We focus on creating a supportive environment for our clients, primarily those covered by private medical insurance, while working as a close-knit collective of physical therapists and rehabilitation enthusiasts.

Work Environment

This position is primarily onsite at our rehabilitation center in Fort Worth, Texas, where you will collaborate closely with two other physical therapists and a physical therapist assistant (PTA). Our workweek spans Monday through Friday from 9 am to 5 pm, providing a structured yet dynamic setting where innovation and patient care take center stage.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to establish patient goals and treatment requirements.
• Manage and maintain a patient load of roughly one individual per hour to ensure thorough and focused care.
• Develop and implement effective treatment plans utilizing a variety of therapeutic techniques to enhance clients' mobility and functional capabilities.
• Utilize hands-on techniques and exercises that promote recovery and reduce reliance on medication, aiming to provide non-surgical alternatives when necessary.
• Encourage and motivate patients throughout their treatment journey to optimize their recovery and functionality.
• Document all services provided and ensure proper communication with healthcare team members regarding patient progress and treatment outcomes.
• Participate in ongoing training and development to remain updated on the latest therapeutic methods and practices.
• Foster a collaborative environment by consulting with other healthcare professionals on patient care strategies.
• Design and implement customized fitness and wellness programs that empower patients to adopt healthier lifestyles.
• Evaluate patient outcomes regularly and make adjustments to therapeutic approaches as needed.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our center primarily serves individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries, including post-surgical rehabilitation, sports injuries, and age-related mobility issues. We pride ourselves on providing tailored treatments that address the unique challenges and goals of each patient, promoting recovery and ensuring sustained functionality.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• Current license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Texas is mandatory.
• No history of disciplinary actions or board complaints on your license is necessary for consideration.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and familiarity with creating and implementing exercise regimens.
• Experience using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems; familiarity with software such as WebPT is preferred.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 1 year of experience working as a Physical Therapist, preferably in an orthopedic outpatient setting.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
• Strong communication skills with an emphasis on patient education and motivation.

Compensation and Benefits

The Care Project offers an attractive compensation package with an annual salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000, commensurate with experience.
