Work EnvironmentThis role is performed onsite at our state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility in Ashburn, VA, where you will be surrounded by a dynamic and supportive team of clinicians. Our facilities are designed to promote healing and recovery, featuring modern equipment and a warm, welcoming atmosphere that enhances patient experience. As a part of our team, you will be working full-time, Monday through Friday, committing approximately 40 hours per week to our patients and their care.
Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Physical Therapist at Deep Care Physical Therapy, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Conducting comprehensive evaluations of patients referred by physicians to identify their specific needs and develop individualized treatment programs.
- Implementing tailored therapeutic interventions, employing a variety of techniques such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities to facilitate optimal recovery.
- Providing expert guidance and education to patients and their caregivers to empower them throughout the rehabilitation process.
- Collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team to maximize patient outcomes using evidence-based approaches and best practices.
- Maintaining accurate documentation and communication related to patient progress in line with regulatory and organizational standards.

QualificationsTo be considered for this position, candidates must possess the following qualifications:
- A recognized Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
- A valid state license to practice physical therapy in Virginia.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association.
- Proficient verbal and written communication skills, allowing for effective interaction with patients, families, and team members.
- Basic computer skills, including familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems, to maintain accurate documentation.
While your foundational qualifications are crucial, we prefer candidates with at least two years of clinical experience in physical therapy, providing you with a solid understanding of various treatment modalities, patient management strategies, and communication skills necessary for successful patient interactions.
