Key Responsibilities- Evaluate patients referred by physicians, developing individualized treatment plans that address their specific needs and goals.
- Implement evidence-based treatment procedures while maintaining thorough documentation of patient progress and outcomes.
- Utilize advanced techniques to provide therapeutic care, including manual therapy, exercise prescription, and patient education.
- Assist in the rehabilitation of various patient populations, ensuring personalized attention and care for unique cases.
- Demonstrate exemplary customer service, contributing to a positive experience for every patient.
- Engage in collaborative healthcare efforts with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
- Educate patients and their caregivers about therapeutic procedures and how to maintain health and wellness at home.
- Meet utilization goals and contribute to the overall business objectives of the practice.
This role will immerse you in a diverse patient community, including individuals requiring orthopedic rehabilitation, pediatric therapy, neurological intervention, and sports medicine support. Qualifications- A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
- State Licensure in Physical Therapy is necessary to practice in Florida.
- At least two years of relevant experience in a clinical setting is essential.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association is mandatory.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with patients and colleagues.
- Proficiency in word processing and familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Ability to establish strong rapport with patients, encouraging them to achieve their functional goals.
- A desire to positively engage and connect with patients and the local community.
- Experience in outpatient physical therapy settings, particularly working with specialized populations.
- Familiarity with current therapeutic techniques and practices in physical therapy.
- Proven ability to manage a diverse caseload with effective time-management skills.
