Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at Greater City Family Counseling, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Assessing and diagnosing patients when necessary, utilizing the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM-5) and other clinical tools to inform individualized treatment plans.
  • Creating and implementing comprehensive treatment strategies that factor in the cultural diversity and special needs of our patient population, continually evaluating their effectiveness.
  • Maintaining precise treatment records and clinical information using advanced digital technology in adherence to regulatory standards and department protocols.
  • Collaborating with patients, their families, and multidisciplinary teams to establish actionable treatment objectives based on the patient's goals and needs.
  • Providing education and mentoring for students and interns, contributing to the development of future mental health professionals.
  • Engaging with external treatment providers and referral organizations to streamline care access and options for patients.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
  • Current and valid State License as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
