We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to perform the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of production equipment, tools, and machinery. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical and electrical knowledge, hands-on troubleshooting skills, and experience performing preventive maintenance in a manufacturing or industrial environment.

Compensation:
$35 per hour

Schedule:
6am-2pm Monday-Friday 4-6 weeks of training

9am-5pm Once training is completed

Responsibilities:

• Install, troubleshoot, adjust, repair, and maintain production equipment and electrical components
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues and determine the appropriate corrective action
• Perform routine preventive maintenance to keep production machinery operating safely and efficiently
• Inspect drives, motors, belts, fluid levels, filters, and other equipment components
• Replace defective parts, electrical wiring, motors, controls, and circuit boards
• Dismantle equipment to access and replace defective components using hoists, cranes, hand tools, and power tools
• Lubricate and clean machinery, parts, and equipment to maintain proper operation
• Use a variety of hand and power tools to repair, grease, weld, cut, replace parts, and complete maintenance tasks
• Read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, repair manuals, and parts catalogs
• Operate production machinery as needed to better understand equipment capabilities and assist with troubleshooting
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Perform additional maintenance duties as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor or Head Mechanic

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of maintenance experience
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
• Technical or vocational school certification preferred
• Ability to read and understand safety procedures, operating instructions, and maintenance documentation
• Working knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical systems, and electrical principles
• Manufacturing or industrial maintenance experience preferred
• Ability to lift up to 65 lbs.
• Ability to stand, walk, sit, bend, climb, and work both indoors and outdoors
• Ability to work in dusty, hot, and/or cold environments
• Ability to use fall protection equipment when required
• Must wear company-provided PPE, including earplugs, hard hat, safety boots/shoes, and protective eyewear
• Candidates must provide their own safety boots/shoes upon hire
• Eligible for the Safety Boots/Shoe Reimbursement Program after 30 days of employment
