As Director, Business Development you will lead cross-border and domestic partnerships to drive a $50M+ GMV growth trajectory. You'll build relationships with Chinese manufacturers entering the US and high-potential US brands, reporting directly to senior leadership. The role blends strategic deal-making with hands-on execution, shaping pitches for SMB and Enterprise segments. You'll operate in a fast-paced, results-driven environment that values cross-functional collaboration and executive-level negotiation.

Responsibilities

• Build a $50M+ GMV book of business as the senior BD leader
• Independently identify targets and develop ICPs without relying on inbound or handoffs
• Maintain a disciplined CRM and KPI-driven pipeline to prioritize likely close deals
• Shape senior-level pitch strategy for SMB and Enterprise segments
• Report GMV and close performance to senior leadership as a performance benchmark

Key requirements

• Close cross-border partnerships with Chinese manufacturers entering the US market, fluency in Mandarin and English
• Proven track record closing $50M+ GMV deals with hands-on ownership
• Deep knowledge of ecommerce fulfillment and marketplace operations
• Experience in trade show sourcing and P&L/costing negotiations
• C-suite and owner-level selling experience
