Key Responsibilities

  • Participate actively in discharge planning and aftercare processes, providing tailored recommendations and follow-up care for individuals transitioning from intensive services.
  • Deliver therapeutic meal support, utilizing evidence-based practices to foster a healthy relationship with food and body image in clients.
  • Offer empathetic, safe, and affirming care tailored to each client's specific needs, considering their unique intersecting identities and circumstances.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The focus of this role is primarily on adolescents within school settings. The successful candidate will work closely with students experiencing a range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, behavioral challenges, and trauma. By employing culturally competent and individualized approaches, the LCSW will support these young individuals through their challenges, promoting survival skills and emotional intelligence.

Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
  • A valid LCSW license in the state of Florida is required.
  • Demonstrated experience working with older adolescents, including recent exposure to school settings.
  • Strong clinical and diagnostic skills, with the ability to develop effective treatment plans.
